Bike for Camp Bastion
We get quite a few requests to support various groups and individuals as they undertake cyle rides for charity and/or good causes.Unfortunately we cannot support them all as the finances just won't stretch that far.
We were asked towards the end of last year to provide a bike for a group of service personnel based in Camp Bastion in Afghanistan.The camp is a big place and they would be using the bike for exercise and for simply getting around the base.
So we sent them a bike, a new Trek,in September 2011.
I got an e mail today (22.2.12) to say the bike had arrived and here to prove it is a photo of the bike and riders.
The bike looks well past its first service already.
